Recipe: Skinny Poolside Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Assorted fresh vegetables and whole grain crackers for serving
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, dried dill, dried parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to taste.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Once chilled, transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve the dip alongside assorted fresh vegetables such as carrot sticks, cucumber slices, bell pepper strips, and cherry tomatoes, as well as whole grain crackers for dipping.
