Instructions:
1. Season the Shrimp
In a large bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated. Set aside to marinate while you prepare the sauce.
2. Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet or saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to let the garlic burn.
3. Cook the Shrimp
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
4. Deglaze the Pan
Deglaze the skillet with white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let the wine simmer for a few minutes to reduce slightly.
5. Finish the Dish
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them in the sauce until heated through. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and sprinkle chopped parsley on top for a burst of freshness.
6. Serve
Serve the Cajun shrimp scampi over cooked linguine pasta, garnished with additional parsley if desired. Enjoy this flavorful dish with crusty bread and a glass of your favorite white wine.
