Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray
  • Fresh lettuce and tomato slices (optional, for serving)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken

Start by preheating your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). While the air fryer is heating, prepare the chicken. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then slice them in half horizontally to create four thin cutlets. This ensures that the chicken cooks evenly and fits perfectly inside the wraps.

Season the chicken cutlets on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. This combination of spices adds a flavorful kick that complements the ham and cheese beautifully.

2. Cook the Chicken in the Air Fryer

Spray both sides of the chicken cutlets lightly with olive oil spray. Place the cutlets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Cook the chicken for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the outside is golden brown and crispy.

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist and tender.

3. Assemble the Wraps

Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard evenly over each tortilla. The combination of mayonnaise and mustard adds a creamy, tangy base that enhances the overall flavor of the wrap.
