For the Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Cheeseburger Filling

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small crumbles.
  2. Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing well to combine.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.

2. Prepare the Dough

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough or pizza dough on a floured surface, ensuring it forms a rectangle.
  3. Cut the dough into 8 equal sections.

3. Assemble the Rollups

  1. Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger filling in the center of each dough section.
  2. Carefully roll the dough around the filling, pinching the seams to seal tightly.
  3. Arrange the rollups on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

4. Add the Garlic Butter Topping

  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Brush the garlic butter generously over each rollup.
  3. Optionally, sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top for an extra cheesy crust.
