Recipe: Simple Lemon Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 9-inch graham cracker pie crust
- 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3-4 lemons)
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Whipped cream and lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well combined and smooth.
- Pour the lemon filling into the prepared graham cracker pie crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Once set, slice the pie into wedges and serve chilled, garnished with whipped cream and lemon slices if desired.
